About Kindershare
Kindershare is a peer-to-peer marketplace for baby and children's equipment — connecting families who own quality gear with families nearby who need it for a short while. Prams, car seats, cots, high chairs and more, available to hire from parents and providers.
The idea began in Sydney's Inner West with a simple observation: so many homes are filled with near-new baby equipment that gets used for only a few months, while other parents are scrambling to borrow, buy or store the very same items. Good baby gear is expensive, bulky, and quickly outgrown.
It takes a village to raise a child — and Kindershare is built to be that village. We help families access premium equipment affordably, earn from gear that would otherwise sit idle, and keep quality items in use and out of landfill.

Pick up your item or get it delivered and we'll handle the rest. Once you're done, give it a clean & return the item. It's that easy!

Trust & safety
Every rental on Kindershare runs through the platform so both sides are protected from the first message to the final return.
- Secure payments
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your card is charged around the start of the rental — not when you send a request — and Kindershare never stores your card or bank details.
- Refundable security bond
Each booking includes a refundable security deposit that protects the owner against loss, damage or late return. When an item comes back on time and in good condition, the bond is released in full.
- Reviewed listings
New listings are checked before they go live, so renters can book with confidence.
- Verified reviews
After every completed rental, the renter and the owner can review each other — honest feedback that helps the whole community stay trustworthy.
- Messaging & support
Arrange everything through Kindershare's in-app inbox. Keeping the conversation on-platform means there's a record of what was agreed, and our support team can step in if anything goes wrong.
